Jeff L. Lieberman is a Journalist, Producer and Documentary Filmmaker.  His TV Specials, News Stories and Documentaries have appeared on CBS, HBO, CNN, FOX, Starz Encore, Fox Movie Channel, The Discovery Channel, E! Entertainment, and on the websites of Yahoo!, The New York Post, CBS Moneywatch, and The Huffington Post.

As a Writer/Producer with CBS National News and a Video Reporter with The New York Post Website, Jeff has covered events all over New York and Washington, DC including the Obama Inauguration, New York’s Fashion Week, the Times Square terrorism attack, and The September 11th Anniversary commemoration.

Through Jeff Lieberman Productions, Jeff produces documentary programming for Coca-Cola, Walt Disney Films, Macy’s, Marlo Thomas, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and The Salt Institute. He also wrote, produced, directed, shot and edited the pilots for the reality shows, “Beauty Queens” and “Mario The Magician” currently being shopped to TV networks.

Previous to this, Jeff was the Senior Producer at Sam Hurwitz Productions in Los Angeles, where he produced Behind-The-Scenes DVD programming for major motion pictures, like Troy, I, Robot, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Akeelah & The Bee, and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.  

A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Radio and Television in Toronto, and UCLA’s Professional Program in Producing, Jeff has had a camera in hand since he was 13, growing up in Vancouver, BC.  “RE-EMERGING: The Jews of Nigeria”, is his first independent feature-length documentary film.  He can’t wait to return to Africa.

Jeff also directed, edited and produced the hit viral election video, “Call Your Zeyde”. JEREMIAH LOCKWOOD
Composer

Son of composer Larry Lockwood and the grandson of the legendary Cantor Jacob Konigsberg, Jeremiah Lockwood began his musical career playing on the streets and subways of Manhattan performing with Piedmont Blues master Carolina Slim.  

Jeremiah is the front man for The Sway Machinery, a band with a unique focus on mining atavisms and cultural memory to create new and exciting music. In 2010 The Sway Machinery performed at the legendary Festival of the Desert in Mali and recorded an album, The House of Friendly Ghosts Vol. 1, which features collaborations with legendary Malian artists like Khaira Arby and Djelimady Tounkara. In the years since, The Sway Machinery has performed internationally, debuting in 2012 in Australia, Israel, Warsaw and at the Rosklide and Montreal Jazz Festivals.

In 2007, Jeremiah was awarded the Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists to develop his unique concept for a concert-event to celebrate Rosh HaShana, the Jewish New Year, through a re-interpretation of the liturgical music of the holiday.  In 2010 Jeremiah was artist-in-residence at the Jewish Daily Forward, creating a series of recordings based on historic Chassidic nigunim.  Jeremiah was a 2011 composer fellow for the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra and created new pieces of music for the orchestra.

In addition to his work performing and recording, Jeremiah is a composer for film and theater, notably scoring numerous award-winning shorts for director Paul Andrejco's Puppet Heap production company. Jeremiah has also toured the world extensively with Balkan Beat Box. Jeremiah’s blues-oriented solo album, American Primitive, was released by Vee-Ron Records in 2006. 

Jeremiah Lockwood lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Shasta and their sons Moses Lion and Jacob Ulysses.
